Reading review

The wolf's story is a book about the wolf's side of the story for red riding hood. The blurb talks about how the wolf did nothing wrong or did he? The front cover shows the wolf winking with red riding hood in the background. This made me very suspicious of the wolf. The first few pages showed the wolf helped the grandma around the house, but when red riding hood starts visiting the wolf gets jealous. This makes me think jealousy is a big part of the problem. Then one day the wolf is looking for some herbs when he bumps into Red riding hood. He Hurries back to the house to tell Grandma about red riding hood then she bumps her head and is knocked out. Wolf wears her dress and it turns into the fairy tail with red riding hood saying ” What big eyes you have grandma.” And so on. It ends with the wolf saying “ Would I lie to you?” This makes me extremely suspicious. You should read this so you can tell me your theorie.

Power of Positivity

 I reckon positivity is
great. To be positive is something holding society together. Positivity is hope and happiness. This guide is going to give people the secret of positivity.

Step one: Treat how you want to be treated. You probably have all heard it but thats because its true. Im sure you like to be treated nicely. So if everyone treats each other nicely there would be no negativity.

Step two: Hope. Always hope and keep your head high don't let people get to your head. Remember the best advice you can get is from yourself. Hoping doesn’t work how ever if you don’t do anything about it though.

Step three: Persevere. Now that you have your tools of positivity you need to persevere and try to infect everyone with positivity!

I hope you liked my guide and learnt something.

Ropes

Ropes

The ropes course was a lot different from what I expected it to be like. I thought there that we would be just learning to tie ropes and maybe climb up a small climbing wall because since it was at the groynes I had never saw any climbing things. When we got there I looked outside and saw a 25 meter climbing course it was so cool. I personally hate heights but enjoy climbing anyways.

My goal was to achieve as well as I could and to push myself. Then Paul and Alan came up and talked to us they told us that they would be our climbing instructors for the day. We split off into to groups and started some team activities. I was thinking oh no this will be boring but it was really fun. We did an activity where you had a ball and had to pass and hand to hand as quickly as possible. We got the fastest time of 0.5 seconds thanks to some good thinking from Brooklyn.

When we started climbing we went in a group of three. I went with Jack and Hugh. We were last to start the Giant's ladder. Which is basically like he name a humongous  ladder which gets wider apart each rung. It was so dodgy because it wobbled as well. I felt like my mouth was a desert and there was a stampede of elephants in my stomach. I made it up to the 9th rung before it was time. The rest of the climbing courses were fine.

When I left I was happy with what I did but would like to do more if I get another climbing experience again. My favourite was the flying kiwi where your team and you run in opposite directions with a rope attached. It was my favourite because it was actually like flying. For the next challenge I'm going to be thinking it will be great rather than boring.
